Modern Stone’s Jazz polishing powder is a mildly acidic stone polishing powder for use on most types of marble, travertine and limestone. Easy to use, Jazz creates and restores a vibrant glow back to stone surfaces. For the restoration of most types of marble, travertine & limestone. Results will vary based upon the density of the stone or level of polish desired. Always test in a small inconspicuous area to determine ease of application and desired results. Allow new grout installations to cure for 72 hours. Uses: For the restoration of most types of marble, travertine and limestone. Coverage: Approximately 600 to 1,000 sq. ft. per pound. Application: Approximately 600 to 1,000 sq. ft. per pound. Surface must be clean and free of dust, dirt, grease, oil, wax, or coatings of any kind. Pre-clean with Modern Stone’s Stone Prep as needed for heavily soiled areas. 1. Protect surfaces not intended to be treated from polishing compound. 2. Apply polishing powder (1/2 cup) plus water (1 cup) to create slurry. 3. Begin restoration using a weighted (130-140 lbs) 175 rpm floor machine or angled grinder/sander fitted with hogs hair or similar pad. 4. Ensure slurry remains wet while refinishing by adding water and polishing powder as needed. 5. Polish the surface until desired level of shine is achieved. 6. Extract slurry with wet/dry vacuum or other extraction equipment. 7. Rinse surface thoroughly to remove all slurry residue and excess compound. Try this stone and travertine polishing powder today!
